You give us mercies each day that we don’t deserve. You take joy in leading us to still waters and restoring our souls. You lead us on the path of righteousness because you are righteous. Lord, help us to not forget just how good you are. You do not leave us or forsake us but you are just. Lord, you walk the line of perfection not just with ease and grace but with power. We bow to you, our perfect God.
In Your Son’s name, I pray,
Ecclesiastes 3:11 “He has made everything beautiful in its time. Also, he has put eternity into man’s heart, yet he cannot find out what God has done from the beginning to the end.” Lord, God, we have so little knowledge of how your loving tender mercy has sustained us. We do have your Holy Word which tells us about Jesus, and your Holy Spirit dwells within us to counsel and guide us. We can seek you any time, day or night, speak with you, listen, yearn for you, and worship you with all our being. Our goal is to be like Jesus. We cannot accept the current UMC liberality and denial of your guidance for Christians. They are ignoring your plan and creating their own plan. I pray your will be done for Christ Christ.
“Now to him who is able to do far more abundantly than all we ask or think, according to the power at work within us, to him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, forever and ever. Amen.”Ephesians 3:20-21 ESV
