Care ministry

Let us walk with you through grief, loss, struggle, and hard times. You are not alone.

Pastoral Care

Each of our pastors provide pastoral counseling for pre-marital, family and marriage, grief, and other life situations where pastoral guidance and prayer are needed.

Stephen Ministers

Our Stephen Ministers are trained caregivers, ready to listen, care for, and encourage.  They pray with and for individuals and provide confidential one-on-one care to help people through whatever they are facing. Contact Kindra Fry 979-739-5660  (Women) or Kerry Roper 713- 553-9550 (Men) to be connected with a Stephen Minister.. For more information, see “Care Receivers Tell Their Stories.

The primary goal of Embrace Grace is to empower the church to be a safe and nonjudgmental place for these young women to run to when they find out they are pregnant, instead of the last place they are welcomed because of shame and guilt.

James 1:27

James 1:27 Projects are one of the many ways that our Christ Church family can help our members in need with repairs or small projects, in and around your home. If you are in need of help, send us an email explaining your situation and someone will reach back out to you shortly.

Homebound communion

If circumstances are preventing you from attending church services in person, we would love to offer our Monthly Communion Delivery Service to you. If you are homebound, whether due to illness, disability, or any other reason, and would like to receive communion in the comfort of your own home, we warmly invite you to take advantage of this opportunity.
