Valerie Martin grew up in Ravenna, Ohio and came to know Christ through the ministry of the local church. She had always been involved in the church and her parents were very active as well. She moved to BCS in 1976, left and then came back again in 2007.

God has used Christ Church in her life to show her welcoming and friendly people in the church community. She is passionate about her family and basketball. She loves to scrapbook, read and spend time with grandkids.

Fun Fact: She was an Associate Warden at a men’s federal penitentiary before retirement.
