Meet the faces of Christ Church
MEET OUR pastors

JERRY HOUSE
Lead Pastor
Jerry's father was a pastor, so he moved around a lot. He moved from East Texas to Houston, then to Katy and Texarkana, back to Houston and finally to Georgetown. He studied music at Southwestern University. Growing up he wanted to be a professional football player, but after becoming classically trained, he considered singing opera instead! During a youth program in college he felt a call to ministry.
A common theme that God continually calls him to convey is the love of God through Jesus Christ. “I want people to know that God loves them and sent Jesus for them! God was willing to go so far to show us the love he has for us. When I came to realize the love God had for me, it undid me, and compelled me to think differently about who I am and what my job is.”
Jerry is happily married with three kids, loves to cook, and be outdoors. He also loves to sing and listen to music.
Fun fact: Journey was his favorite band growing up!

KRIS BAGLEY
Senior Associate Pastor
Kris grew up mostly in Houston, where he attended and graduated from Houston Baptist University. His father was a Methodist pastor, so he went to church consistently throughout his upbringing, but it was in his early 20’s when he recognized the power in his faith and took ownership of it. These early opportunities have led him to be the pastor he is today.
When asked what universal message he wants to evoke to the church, Kris pinpoints that the presence of God is something we take lightly and sometimes overlook. The presence of God is also the primary way that God displays His power to us. The presence of the Holy Spirit is a game changer!
Kris and his family love to travel whenever they get the chance. The most recent they took was to Columbia to visit some friends and they had a blast!
Fun fact: Anytime the family goes on trips they make sure to find a major league baseball stadium to see. So far, the family has visited 17 total stadiums.

BRIAN SMITH
Student & College Pastor
Brian grew up in Denton, Texas and attended Texas A&M University here in College Station. He received a degree in Agricultural Economics and Business, and while attending was able to get his start in student ministry. Brian says that he went to college to get a degree but was able to find his true career while working in the youth ministry. His favorite thing about student and college ministry at Christ Church is seeing the students grow and transition through the different ministries. Watching these students as they grow in their relationship with the Lord and through different stages of life has been a wonderful blessing.
Fun Fact: Brian is a bit of a dare devil and will do anything you dare him to do.

GARRY MASTERSON
Congregational Care Pastor
Garry was born in Louisville, Kentucky, where he lived until the age of twelve when his family moved to Dallas, Texas for the rest of his upbringing. He went to Texas A&M University for two years and then transferred to the University of Texas where he received his undergraduate degree in Art. Following his undergrad in Austin, Garry came back to College Station where he became an art teacher. While Garry was a 9th grade art teacher, he was heavily involved in his church at the time and continuously felt called into ministry. He felt called to pray bigger things for the church and expect God to move and use him where he was. Garry has been able to build a beautiful life in College Station and Christ Church with his wife and family.
Fun Fact: Garry loves acrylic painting and playing golf with his wife.

WILL AGNOR
Contemporary Worship Pastor
Will was born and raised in College Station where he attended A&M Consolidated High School. At a young age he was able to take part in the youth ministry at Christ Church and met Jesus here at fourteen years old. In high school, Will started leading youth worship and that was just the start to his career and call to ministry. Will remarks that, “the same summer he asked his mom for a guitar was the same summer the youth director asked him to lead worship!” Will feels blessed that he has been able to stay in College Station and see Christ Church grow alongside his wife and kids.
Fun Fact: Will loves playing disk golf in his free time, along with fun and unique board games!
